Emporia High golfers Brooks Sauder and Caden Massey have wrapped up play at the 5A State Tournament Tuesday.
Brooks Sauder finished the two days at 15 over par, tied for 23rd place. He shot an 80 Tuesday after a 79 on Monday and finished with a 159.
Caden Massey finished the two days at 16 over par,
tied for 27th place. He shot a 79 Tuesday after an 81 on Monday and finished with a 160.
Nicklaus Mason of Mill Valley took medalist honors finishing 5 under par.
Kapaun Mt. Carmel won the 5A team title.
At the 1A tournament, that was played at the Emporia Golf Course, play was halted during the 2nd round due to lightning and excessive rain. The tournament was decided by Mondays play.
Olpes Max Blaufuss finished tied for 11th place. Jordan Barnard finished tied for 18th place.
Trent Mars of Centralia took medalist honors with a 78. Frankfort won the 1A team championship.
