Emporia State has 5 athletes headed to Allendale, Michigan for the NCAA Division II outdoor track and field meet which begins Thursday.
Emporia State Coach Steve Blocker says they need just go and compete.
Travis Morrison is ranked seventh in the nation in the men’s shot put. His best throw of the season of over 60 feet came at the MIAA meet.
Juwan Johnson is ranked tenth in the nation in the men’s 100m.
Clara Eilert is ranked 10th in the nation in the women’s high jump.
Alyssa Conway is ranked 10th in the nation in the womens’ hammer.
Jazmin Williams is ranked 13th in the nation in the women’s long jump.
