The Kansas City Royals tried to rally but came up a run short in a 6-5 loss to the Minnesota Twins Saturday.
The Twins scored 2 runs in the 4th inning and a run in the 6th inning to take a 5-2 lead. The Royals scored 2 runs in the 9th on an Adalberto Mondesi 2 run home run. They would not get the tieing run on base.
