Emporia isn’t the only area community with notable infrastructure work starting this month.
Osage City has sewer rehabilitation work beginning in two alleys, one between Lakin and Holiday from North Topeka to the railroad tracks. The other will be between Barclay and Lakin between North Second to North Topeka.
Work is tentatively scheduled weekdays between 7:30 am and 5 pm, but Saturday work may be needed to avoid lengthening the project.
