Property, capital improvements and budgetary matters are set to highlight the Emporia City Commission’s upcoming study session Wednesday.
City commissioners are set to review a series of capital improvement plans for multiple city departments and facilities including Emporia Fire and EMS, Code Services, the Emporia Police Department, administrative offices, the Emporia Public Library, Municipal Golf Course, David Traylor Zoo and White Auditorium.
Commissioners will also discuss ordinances for foreclosures and vacant property within the city of Emporia. Budget and wage scale matters as well as the purchase of a replacement for a 2011 Camel Combination Vactor Truck for underground utilities will also see discussions.
The meeting begins at 10 am inside the Municipal Courtroom at White Auditorium.
