Emporia Public Schools is in the process of finalizing their kindergarten and preschool classes for the 2021-2022 school year.
The time is now for parents and guardians of those students to preregister them online in preparation for the enrollment process that starts July 19.
USD 253 Emporia Community Relations Director Lyndel Landgren joined KVOE’s Morning Show on Tuesday to explain how the pregistration process for the upcoming school year can be a great help to the administrative staff in understanding the makeup of the fall classes. Landgren also outlined how the preregistration process will make enrollment much easier coming later this July.
Although the preregistration is highlighted towards the kindergarten and preschool age groups, USD 253 and their staff are mindful of the difficulties many students faced in the last year. In response, Landgren and his team are especially flexible with any student who has not yet been registered into the enrollment process.
