The Lyon County Fairgrounds will be busy Wednesday afternoon as the Community Baby Shower takes place.
Expectant mothers can learn a lot of information from health professionals while at the Anderson Building. They can also receive free materials on parenting, community resources and support options. There will also be free pack-and-play items for all in attendance and door prizes for the newborns-to-be.
The event is free for expecting mothers and family members, but space is limited so each attendee can have one guest and cannot have children as a guest. Mask use and social distancing is strongly requested.
The event begins at 2 pm with sessions at 2, 3:30, 5 and 6:30 pm. Flint Hills Technical College, Newman Regional Health and Wade’s Warriors are partnering to bring this event to the community.
