One of Hand in Hand Hospice’s main public activities will return this weekend.
Wings of Hope honors loved ones who have passed away with a butterfly release. This year’s event will be at a new location — Jones Park’s Johnson Shelter House instead of the David Traylor Zoo.
The event will take place at 6 pm Saturday. Mask wearing and social distancing are requested. People attending the event are asked to bring bug spray and wither a lawn chair or blanket. Proceeds help Hand in Hand provide hospice care and grief support.
