Weather permitting, Stroll and Show returns to the David Traylor Zoo on Friday evening.
Outreach Coordinator Dehlia Sutton says there will be a fun environment with some educational activities before the featured movie.
The zoo will close as normal at 4:30 pm before reopening at 7 pm. “The Secret Life of Pets 2” is the featured movie, showing around dusk — right after a sing-along. There will also be activities in the Zoo Education Center, with Jack’s Snack Shack providing food and snacks. The Humane Society of the Flint Hills will also have information about membership and pet adoptions.
Folks attending should bring blankets or lawn chairs. They should also park near the Zoo Education Center to avoid construction.
