The Oakland A’s walked off with a 4-3 win over the Kansas City Royals Friday night.
The A’s scored 3 runs in the 4th inning to take the early lead. The Royals rallied with 2 runs in the 7th, Salvador Perez hit a solo home run and then scored a run on an error.
In the 8th inning, Salvador Perez hit his 2nd solo home run to tie the game.
In the bottom of the 9th Max Chapman doubled and scored on an Elvis Andres 1 out single for the win.
The Royals and A’s play again this afternoon. Jackson Kowar makes his 2nd start. The first pitch is set for 3:07 pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM beginning at 2:30 pm.
