One person was taken to Newman Regional Health and another was taken into custody after a reported stabbing in west Emporia on Friday night.
Emporia Police and Emporia Fire/EMS responded to the 700 block of Sunnyslope a bit before 9 pm after a reported aggravated assault. One man was taken from the address for treatment. The extent of injuries has not been released. Another person was jailed.
