The Detroit Tigers scored a run in the first inning and never gave up the lead on the way to a 4-3 win over the Kansas City Royals Tuesday night.
Detroit added 2 runs in the 3rd inning to take a 3-0 lead. The Royals answered with 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd. The Tigers added a single run in the 6th and the Royals scored their 3rd run in the 7th inning. Nicky Lopez scored and drove in a run for the Royals.
The Royals and Tigers wrap up their 3 game series this afternoon. Brady Singer will try to end a 4 game losing skid. The first pitch is set for 1:10 pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
