The Chase County Senior Center has a partial shutdown in place due to COVID-19.
The Senior Center is not allowing dine-in for meals, although it is still serving carryout and delivery meals. No other activities are listed as affected. This follows illnesses for three staffers.
The center has been in a partial shutdown mode since June 9. There is currently no word on when the facility will resume full normal operations.
Chase County has had larger COVID clusters at other facilities, including at least 12 confirmed cases at Chase County Care and Rehab last fall and over 80 cases at the Chase County Jail starting last summer.
