The New York Islanders used a three-goal second period and held off the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-2 to even their semifinal series at two games apiece. Sergei Varlamov also made 28 saves for the Islanders. Game 5 is Monday night.
Game 4 of the Montreal-Vegas series is Sunday in Montreal. The Canadiens lead that series 2-1.
