The #VaxToNormal campaign continues its weekly drawings with more than 750 entries through its first two weeks.
Residents must be fully vaccinated to enter the drawing. Eligible residents can go to https://www.geadisasterrelieffund.org/ and register to be entered into the drawings. Mickey Edwards of the #VaxToNormal campaign says weekly registration will not be needed.
For those who have yet to receive their vaccination and would still like to. The campaign has announced its first drive-thru clinic for July 10th from 8 am to 10 am at Riverside Elementary. Edwards says plans are formulating for future clinics with additional information to be released at a later time.
#VaxToNormal is a campaign being put on in cooperation between the Greater Emporia Area Disaster Relief Fund and a range of health, education, business, and nonprofit partners to increase vaccination rates in Lyon, Chase, Coffey, Greenwood, Morris, Osage, Wabaunsee, and Woodson counties. Residents are eligible for weekly drawings if they are fully vaccinated, whether before the campaign started or as part of the campaign in the coming months.
More information is available at www.geadisasterrelieffund.org or on the Greater Emporia Area Disaster Relief Fund’s Facebook page. Weekly drawings will take place on the Facebook page.
