Scoring continues to be a struggle for both the Junior and Senior Emporia Legion baseball teams.
The junior legion dropped their last two games to the Salina Hawks in a doubleheader on Tuesday 12-3 and 14-2. The senior legion has had its struggles over the past few weeks.
Despite winning their last two games over Ottawa and Chase County this past weekend, the seniors are still 11 games under 500.
Head Coach Anthony Markowitz says there are a number of areas where his teams can improve.
Markowitz says they’re improving each day, however, they’re still young.
The Senior Legion plays Friday at 11 am and 1 pm. The Junior Legion’s next game is Tuesday at Soden’s Grove
