Downtown Emporia will be hosting a night of live music and charity this weekend.
Big Brothers Big Sisters serving Lyon County is hosting the first annual Big on the Block event Saturday on Commercial Street.
Director Jacque Wellnitz joined KVOE’s Talk of Emporia to share some of the exciting activities folks can expect.
Wellnitz says Big on the Block is both an opportunity to support a great cause while also enjoying some much-needed togetherness.
The event kicks off at 5pm and the music will start at 7pm.
Tickets are currently available for Big on the Block and cost $25 apiece. You are also able to purchase tickets in Town Royal on Saturday.
