Texas Rangers rally for 9-4 win over Kansas City Royals

Good start, bad finish for the Kansas City Royals Friday night in a 9-4 loss to the Texas Rangers.
Whit Merrifield tripled to drive in Nicky Lopez giving the Royals a 1-0 lead in the 3rd inning.
The bad began with a 4 run 4th inning for Texas. They added 5 runs in the 6th and the Royals never recovered. All 9 runs were scored off of Royals starter Mike Minor.
The Royals will try to bounce back Saturday afternoon. Kyle Zimmer will be the starting pitcher for the Royals with the first pitch set for 3:05 pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM beginning at 2:30 pm.
