After as much as 7 inches of rain fell across parts of Lyon County on Friday, more rainfall is at least possible into Tuesday.
Lyon, Coffey and Osage counties are in a flash flood watch until 7 pm Tuesday, while a flood watches are now in effect for Chase and Greenwood counties until 7 pm Tuesday.
This comes as Lyon County has one road closed due to high water and several river gauges just shy of flood status, the main aftereffects of rainfall totals that ranged from 0.75 inches in Allen to over 7 inches in Neosho Rapids on Friday.
