Two men face rape charges in separate cases now working through Lyon County District Court.
Jordan Dorsey, 26, had his first court appearance Monday after an alleged incident earlier this month.
Dorsey is charged with 11 counts overall, including three counts of rape and single counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated kidnapping, kidnapping, aggravated battery, theft, criminal threat and criminal trespass.
The affidavit in Dorsey’s case is sealed.
Separately, 36-year-old Matthew Patterson had his first court appearance Monday after an alleged incident last week. He’s facing five counts overall, including one count of rape of a 9-year-old, three counts of aggravated criminal sodomy and one count of aggravated indecent liberties. As is the case with Dorsey, the affidavit in Patterson’s case is sealed.
Patterson is also in court on single counts of stalking and phone harassment connected to another incident last week as well.
Dorsey has a preliminary hearing at 3 pm July 26. Patterson has a preliminary hearing at 2:30 pm Aug. 2 in the rape case and a pretrial hearing at 8:30 am Aug. 2 in the stalking case.
