Parents — if you haven’t adjusted your child seats recently, Safe Kids Emporia has an event for you Wednesday.
Safe Kids has its latest check lane Wednesday — its first one of the year after COVID-19 wiped out the schedule last year — and Police Sgt. Lisa Hayes says it’s a good no-guilt way to make sure everything is safe for your travels.
Hayes says safety technicians are in the middle of a recertification class, and part of that involves a public check lane.
The check lane will be at the Lyon County Extension Office, 2632 West Highway 50, from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. Parents need to bring their children, their primary vehicle and their car seat of choice.
