Lyon County’s overall coronavirus caseload increases continued to close out the workweek.
In its Friday update, public health reported four new cases bringing the overall total to 4,298 cases since late last March. There were no recoveries reported raising the active total to 23.
This is the first time since Jun. 11 the active total has been higher than 20 cases. Deaths remained steady at 86 with one case still pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
There are no active hospitalizations at this time.
