The PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championship played its first two rounds Wednesday. The 251 players represent more than 38 states including Hawaii, Maine, and Alaska.
Tournament Doug Bjerkaas says this tournament has future professional champions playing.
After the first day of play, Peter Calabrese leads the boys 18 and under division, and Melody Castruita leads the girls 18 and under. Aria Castruita leads the girls 15 and under and Carter Ahrens leads the boys 15 and under.
The second day of the tournament is Thursday with first tee times at 8 am, scores and live stats can be found on the PDGA’s website.
