Day 2 of the PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships is in the books.
In the boys 18 and under division Emporian Abram Brazzle and Tyler Wright of Council Grove are in a 4-way tie for 34th place at 5 over par.
Peter Calabrese of Shoreview, Michigan held on to the lead. He is 25 under par after 3 rounds and has a 6 stroke lead.
There is a two-way tie for first place in the girls 18 and under division. Melody Castruita of Bastrop, Texas, and Stacie Hass of Hubbard Lake, Michigan share the lead at 16 under par.
In the boys 15 and under division Brennan Haag of Emporia is tied for 55th place at plus 18. Luke Taylor of Shepherd, Michigan is in first place at 31 under par.
In the girls 15 and under division Aria Castruita of Bastrop, Texas is in 1st place at 10 under par.
Carly Jordon of Neosho Rapids is in 6th place at plus 9.
The other leaders going into Fridays play are:
Boys 12 and under – Wyatt Mahoney of Glastonbury, Connecticut, -17.
Girls 12 and under – Ava Meyer of Belton, Missouri, +21.
Boys 10 and under – Kaidin Bell of Grand Rapids, Michigan, -5.
Girls 10 and under – M.J. Gager, Jeffersonton, Virginia, +33.
Boys 8 and under – Nathan Brewer of Fridley, Minnesota, +4.
The 18 and 15 and under age groups will play 2 rounds Friday. The other age groups will play 1 round.
Saturday, all age groups will play a final round in the morning.
The top 4 players in each age group will play a final 9 holes Saturday afternoon to determine the Champions.
