Day 3 of the PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships is complete.
Going into Saturday’s play Peter Calabrese of Shoreview, Michigan remains in 1st place he is at 38 under par and has a 7 stroke lead in the 18 and under division.
Tyler Wright of Council Grove is in 27th place at even par.
Abram Brazzle of Emporia is in 42nd place at plus 10.
Stacie Hass of Hubbard Lake, Michigan has the lead in the girls 18 and under division. She is 28 under par and leads by 6 strokes.
In the boys 15 and under division Andrew Miranda of Atascadero, California has the led. He is 52 under par and leads by 7 strokes.
Brennan Haag of Emporia is in 53rd place at 21 over par.
In the Girls 15 and under division Aria Castruita of Bastrop, Texas is a runaway leader. She is at 20 under par and has a 17 stroke lead.
Carley Jordan of Neosho Rapids is tied for 4th place at plus 9.
There is a tie for first place in the boys 12 and under division – Wyatt Mahoney of Glastonbury, Connecticut is tied with Uriyah Kelley of Rochester, New Hampshire, at 23 under par.
Girls 12 and under – Ava Meyer of Belton, Missouri, +24.
Boys 10 and under – Kaidin Bell of Grand Rapids, Michigan, -2.
Girls 10 and under – M.J. Gager, Jeffersonton, Virginia, +59.
Boys 8 and under – Nathan Brewer of Fridley, Minnesota, +15.
Three sisters Melody, Aria, and Haley Castruita of Bastrop, Texas are all still in contention for championships. Melody, who is the defending 18 and under champion, is in second place and trails by 6 strokes.
Aria has a commanding lead in the girls 15 and under division of 17 strokes. Her sister Haley, who won the championship in 2019, is in 3rd place.
Saturday, all age groups will play a final round in the morning. Then top 4 players in each age group will play a final 9 holes to determine the Champions.
