Abundant Harvest is hosting the latest mobile food pantry Tuesday, and there is a major traffic pattern change coming.
Abundant Harvest says vehicles all must enter the front parking lot at 1028 Whittier from the south as opposed to both north and south, as had been the case earlier. This move is designed to alleviate traffic safety issues on East 12th, where cars can line up as far away as the Emporia Senior Center.
Abundant Harvest is partnering with Kansas Food Bank and Tyson Foods on this giveaway, which now goes once a month until next spring. Meat, produce and other food items will be available.
