Burlington Northern Santa Fe was busy with work in Lyon County on Tuesday, and that could continue Wednesday.
The railroad blocked off an area near Road 170 and D overnight for maintenance and repairs after closing D at the crossing for maintenance just about all day. Work here will possibly continue for at least part of Wednesday.
Roads A and F at those railroad crossings were also closed but reopened.
