Two Emporians and a Topeka man have been arrested after a traffic stop allegedly turned into a drug bust.
According to Emporia Police Sgt. Lisa Hayes, officers made a traffic stop around 2 pm Tuesday after a vehicle was spotted with a broken windshield. An unlisted quantity of drugs were allegedly found inside.
Officers arrested 35-year-old Sheldon Davis of Emporia on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Officers also arrested 23-year-old Amber Burch of Emporia and 23-year-old David Amos of Topeka on suspicion of meth and paraphernalia possession.
Formal charges are currently pending.
