The Emporia Senior American Legion baseball team was outscored by the Topeka Senators 9-3 Wednesday night in their final tune-up before Zone tournament play.
Coach Anthony Markowitz said the game gave them a chance to get ready for the Zone tournament.
Post 5 will be hosting a zone tournament beginning Friday. They will open against Ottawa in the 6 pm game. The winner of the first game will play Pittsburg at 8 pm.
All games will be played at Sodens Grove.
