More Adjustments to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment travel quarantine list.
Those countries added to the list are the British Virgin Islands, Cyprus, Fiji, Jersey, The United Kingdom, and Tunisia.
Those removed are Brazil, Costa Rica, French Guiana, Maldives, Oman, Saint Kitts, and Nevis, Suriname, and Uruguay
These changes are effective July 15.
The list of those needing to quarantine has been updated to Individuals who:
*Travel on or after July 15th to the British Virgin Islands, Cyprus, Fiji, Jersey, The United Kingdom, or Tunisia.
*Traveled on or after July 1st to Namibia.
*Traveled on or after June 17th to Kuwait or Mongolia.
*Traveled on or after May 6th to Seychelles.
*Traveled on or after April 22nd to Argentina.
*Traveled between July 1st and July 15th to Brazil, Oman, or Saint Kitts and Nevis.
*Traveled between June 3rd and July 15 to Suriname.
*Traveled between May 20th and July 15th to Costa Rica or French Guiana.
*Traveled between May 6th and July 15th to Maldives.
*Traveled between April 8th and July 15th to Uruguay.
*Attended any out-of-state- gatherings of 500 or more where individuals did not social distance (6 feet) and wear a mask.
*Been on a cruise ship or a river cruise on or after March 15th, 2020.
For the unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, the quarantine period is seven days with a negative COVID test or 10 days with no test.
People who are fully vaccinated and are two weeks beyond their final dose can travel without quarantining afterward if they are within six months of getting their final dose and stay asymptomatic after traveling.
People who have recovered from COVID-19 can travel without quarantine if they are within six months after their infection, have documented evidence of their infection, and have remained asymptomatic after travel.
