Three people are now facing charges after a local traffic stop turned up drugs, according to Emporia Police.
Lyon County Attorney Marc Goodman says 35-year-old Sheldon Davis of Emporia is charged with one count of possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Two others arrested in connection to the case, 23-year-old Amber Burch of Emporia and 23-year-old David Amos of Topeka, have been charged with misdemeanor drug possession counts.
Officers have said they found drugs inside a vehicle after a traffic stop in Emporia on Tuesday. Further details about the case have not been announced.
Court appearance dates have not been divulged.
