With more rainfall in the forecast Saturday, the National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for one county in the KVOE listening area.
The warning affects Greenwood County until 5:30 pm Saturday. The National Weather Service says rain totals of one to three inches are possible on top of previous accumulations from earlier in the week.
Additionally, a flood watch continues for Chase and Greenwood counties until 1 pm Saturday.
7 am Saturday: Flooding concerns lessening yet still lingering for portions of KVOE listening area Saturday
Flooding concerns aren’t as widespread across the KVOE listening area as they have been the past several days, however, they haven’t fully abated either.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Chase and Greenwood counties until 1 pm Saturday. The current forecast is calling for the possibility of scattered thunderstorms through the morning hours that could produce intense rainfall.
