Budgetary matters will be front and center for the Emporia Recreation Commission’s meeting Monday evening.
The board actually has two meetings planned, with one exclusively close the financial books on fiscal 2021 starting at 5:30 pm. As soon as that meeting adjourns, board members have their regular monthly meeting. The budget will be approved for publication purposes before the board takes action on an insurance proposal from ICI. Winter hours at the Lee Beran Recreation Center and an update on the future of the RecXtra partnership with USD 253 Emporia will also be discussed.
Both meetings are at the Rec Center.
