Giannis Antetokounpo scored 50 points, added 14 rebounds and blocked five shots in a legendary performance that gave the Milwaukee Bucks their first NBA title in five decades.
The Bucks defeated the Phoenix Suns 105-98 Tuesday, winning the NBA Finals in six games and winning the final four games for the title.
Antetokounpo signed a five-year supermax contract before the season started, saying “there was a job that had to be finished.” After injuring his knee three weeks ago, he averaged 35.2 points and 13.2 rebounds a game in the Finals.
The Suns now haven’t won an NBA title in their 53-year history.
