The Kansas City Royals swept a two-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers Wednesday with a 6-3 win.
The Royals opened the scoring in the fourth inning scoring two runs thanks to an RBI double by Andrew Benintendi and an RBI single by Hunter Dozier. The Brewers would overtake the lead scoring three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Hunter Dozier tied the game in the top of the sixth with his second RBI single before a two-run double by Nicky Lopez gave the Royals the lead. Jorge Soler added a solo home run in the top of the eighth to give the Royals their sixth run of the game.
Brad Keller was the winning pitcher going six and two-quarters innings giving up three runs on six hits. Scott Barlow picked up the save.
The Royals have the day off Thursday before they begin a three-game home series with the Detroit Tigers on Friday.
