A preliminary hearing was continued for a man accused of rape in Lyon County.
Jordan Dorsey was supposed to have a hearing in Lyon County District Court Monday afternoon, however, the state has requested a continuance in the case. A new preliminary hearing has now been scheduled for 9 am Sept. 8.
The 26-year-old Dorsey is charged with 11 counts overall, including three counts of rape and single counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated kidnapping, kidnapping, aggravated battery, theft, criminal threat and criminal trespass.
The affidavit in Dorsey’s case is sealed.
