The Royals scored 4 runs in the 1st inning on a Salvador Perez 3 run home run and a Jorge Soler solo home run.
Soler added a solo home run in the 3rd inning.
Daniel Lynch, who was recalled from Omaha before Sundays game, was the winning pitcher going 8 innings giving no runs on 5 hits with 4 strikeouts.
