A range of items are ahead for the USD 253 Emporia Board of Education with a business meeting Wednesday.
Board members will get a COVID-19 update from Superintendent Allison Anderson-Harder. Board members could also discuss potential policy changes as part of that agenda item.
Separately, board members will discuss the district’s emergency operations plan, child nutrition procurement plan and after-school programs, notably the continuation of RecXtra for this academic year. A concurrent enrollment memorandum of agreement between the district and Flint Hills Technical College, along with a memorandum of understanding between USD 253 and the Fifth Judicial District for the Spartan Explorers after-school programming, are also on the agenda.
The meeting is at 7 pm at Mary Herbert.
