Have you ever done meditations? With my medial procedure in Ohio a week away I’ve been blessed with a meditation tape shared by my neighbor Duane. He used this medication successfully 9 years ago. The process suggests you find a safe place to remember, so you can
relax. That took me awhile, but finally a couple of good places surfaced. That was good, but something was still lacking until Sunday morning while listening to a church service on the radio the 23 rd Psalm came to my mind.
Reciting it while lodged in one of my safe place is very calming. Listen to these familiar words and see if you feel more comfortable?
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
God makes me lie down in green pastures,
And leads me beside the still waters.
God revives my spirit,
And guides me in the paths of righteousness, for his name’s sake.
Though I walk in the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil; for you are with me.
Your rod and staff comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and kindness shall follow me all the days of my life,
And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
I’m Steve Sauder and I am blessed and I am prepared for my next journey.
