Parents who need to enroll their children at USD 253 Emporia for the upcoming school year have until the close of business Monday to use the online method.
The district says parents can still use the PowerSchool Parent Portal or go straight to www.usd253.org to enroll Sunday and Monday. Starting Tuesday, enrollment will take place by appointment at the Flint Hills Learning Center inside Flinthills Mall.
Regardless of whether parents enroll their students in-person or online, the district is still asking for participation in the Household Economic Survey. The district says the two-question survey could generate millions of dollars for educational programs and parents who complete the form will have their students’ technology fee waived.
