The Greenwood County Health Department is asking residents who shopped at a bar and grill in Eureka to monitor for symptoms after a person was identified with COVID-19 recently.
The Health Department says it has identified one case linked to the Half Dollar at 103 North Main in Eureka. People who visited the establishment between July 24-21 are considered at risk of exposure and are asked to “self-monitor” for symptoms for 10 days from the date they went inside.
Residents are told to call their doctors if they develop any of the following symptoms:
• fever of 100.4 F or higher
• chills
• rigors
• myalgia (muscle pain or aches)
• malaise
• headache
• sore throat
• lower respiratory illness (cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing)
• new olfactory and taste disorders
• diarrhea
• congestion or runny nose
• nausea or vomiting
