Emporia Police officers continue their investigation into an incident allegedly involving a hit-and-run and a short kidnapping.
Police Capt. Ray Mattas says the incident late Monday night happened at Ninth and East. Officers are still looking for two female suspects who allegedly hit a cyclist and then held that person for a short time before the alleged victim was found safe. Suspect names and descriptions have not been released.
Mattas says the suspects left the scene in an unknown color passenger car, possibly silver or tan. The car had a broken windshield as a result of the wreck.
