For the second time this week, the Greenwood County Health Department is asking patrons of a Eureka business to monitor themselves for symptoms after a confirmed COVID-19 exposure.
The department says it has identified a COVID-positive person connected to the Family Dollar and Dollar Tree at 905 East River Road. Residents who were in the store on the dates of July 25, July 28, July 29 and Aug. 1 are considered at risk and should monitor themselves for symptoms for a 10-day period from when they shopped inside the store.
The follows an identical request for people visiting Half Dollar Bar and Grill from July 24-31.
People should check with their physicians if they develop any of the following symptoms:
*fever of 100.4F or higher
*chills
*rigors
*myalgia (muscle pain)
*headache
*sore throat
*cough
*shortness of breath
*difficulty breathing
*trouble with taste or smell
*diarrhea
*congestion or runny nose
*nausea or vomiting
