Cardinals outscore Royals 5-2

The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Kansas City Royals 5-2 Saturday night.
The Cardinals scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st.
The Royals tied the game with 2 runs in the top of the 4th. Michael A. Taylor and Hanser Alberto each drove in a run.
St. Louis broke the tie with a run in the bottom of the 4th and added single runs in the 5th and 6th innings. The Cardinals scored all 5 runs off of Royals starter Brad Keller.
The Royals and Cardinals play the 3rd and final game of the series Sunday afternoon. Kris Bubic will be the starting pitcher for the Royals. The first pitch is set for 1:15 pm. Coverage on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM begins at 12:30 pm.
