The local community’s recent spike in COVID-19 cases has led to the cancelation of yet another large-scale event.
Symphony in the Flint Hills announced via social media that “after carefully considering the safety of all participants, we have come to the difficult decision to cancel our fall event, WoodFest.” The weekend of music and art was scheduled for Sept. 25 at Camp Wood YMCA in Elmdale.
Symphony in the Flint Hills will be refunding registration fees for all who had planned to attend the event. Symphony is currently planning for Woodfest to return next year on Sept. 24.
