The hunt is over as the KVOE Hide and Seek medallion has been found.
The lucky hunter who claimed $5,500 in cash and prizes was Bryan Jones. Jones discovered the medallion’s hiding spot in the creek bed at Hammond Park just west of the tennis courts under a rock.
Jones says when he found the medallion the first feeling he had was a sense of relief.
Jones says he’s excited about the prizes that come with winning but more than anything he just wanted to be able to say he found the medallion.
For finding the medallion and having a valid hunting license Jones took home the full grand prize package which included $500 in cash and $5,000 in prizes from local businesses including the event’s four major sponsors, Brown’s Shoe Fit, Graves Drugs, Kari’s Diamonds and NexTech Wireless as well as LCAT, Jack’s Lawn & Pool, the Sweet Granada, Mi Chavelita Mexican Grill and Melissa’s Chop Shop.
