The 2021 Flint Hills Beef Fest kicks off Friday.
Activities get underway in the early morning Friday with Live Stocker Show at the Emporia Live Stock Sale Barn at 9 am before moving to the Bowyer Community Building for the annual beef producers seminar and lunch. Activities will continue well into the evening with the ranch feed at 6 pm inside the Bowyer Community Building followed by the popular ranch rodeo at 7 pm.
Beef Fest Spokesman Jaret Moyer says Beef Fest is more than just an annual community event, it’s a celebration of the hard work that individuals in the beef industry put in every year.
Activities continue Saturday with barnyard games at the Lyon County Fairgrounds beginning at 10 am. KVOE will once again be serving up hamburgers for the free Beef Fest hamburger feed followed later in the day by the Beef Fest awards banquet, a steak dinner, live entertainment from Dueling Pianos and a dance with live music from Brickhorse.
Activities conclude Sunday with the annual golf tournament at the Emporia Municipal Golf Course. For a full schedule of all activities and events visit this story at KVOE.com where we have provided a link to the Bee Fest website.
