The Kansas City Royals used another strong pitching performance from Daniel Lynch to defeat the Houston Astros 3-1 Tuesday night. Lynch gave up 1 run on 4 hits and struck out 5 in 7 innings of work for his 3rd win.
Hanser Alberto drove in 2 runs with a double in the 6th inning to break a 1-1 tie. Michael A. Taylor drove in the Royals 1st run with a double in the 4th inning.
The Royals and Astros play again tonight. Brady Singer will be the starting pitcher for the Royals. The first pitch is set for 7:10p. The game will be broadcast on KVOE1400AM/96.9FM.
