Lyon County added 26 new coronavirus cases in the latest data update.
Lyon County Public Health announced the increase, which pushes the county’s overall total to 4,644 cases since the pandemic started in March 2020 and the August total to almost 250.
Active cases, which hit a recent peak of 151 a week ago, dipped again and are now at 123. Twenty-two, or almost 18 percent, are breakthroughs affecting fully-vaccinated residents.
Deaths remained steady at 88. Active hospitalizations went from one to three.
