Three patients declined treatment after a reported injury crash east of Emporia on Monday.
Early indications are an SUV rear-ended a semi near the intersection of Road 175 and Road V around 7:45 am. Three patients in the SUV were observed on site before refusing hospital treatment.
The investigation into the wreck is ongoing through the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.

Emporia rescue crews and Lyon County deputies are on the scene of a reported injury crash that happened Monday morning.
The crash was reported around 7:45 am in the 1900 block of Road 175, or just east of Road V — about eight miles east of the Emporia city limits. Early indications are a passenger vehicle rear-ended a semi.
